Carla helps clients assess their operations and performance, ultimately supporting them to identify the most effective organization and governing structure. She zooms in and out of the details with you because she has been there in your shoes. This can include exploring growth and downsizing scenarios; clarifying leadership, staff and board roles; collaborating with other organizations with similar missions; imagining and tapping new funding and income generating streams: creating new marketing models; and assessing if individuals need training or preparation for new responsibilities and working relationships, among other things.

We will look at your professional/personal goals and the issues climate change poses too on your organization and your stakepholders. A change in leadership may be in the future which may influence how fast to start a succession process. Together, we will look at the needs of your community, the capacity of the organization to fulfill those needs, what the practical options are, and what your operating budget and capital budget needs to be up to 3-5 years.
